“A TOTAL SOLUTION COMPANY”
SERVING BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY
Products, Services and Equipment
The primary product offered is REACTIVATE®, “a one step”; natural bentonite clay based reactant. Blended into the clay are dried chemicals; acids, bases, and polymers, which work together in a proprietary matrix to remove and encapsulate contaminants in a single step.
The service offered is any on-site visit related to the operation, maintenance, or repair of equipment covered by warranty or contract. We maintain constant communication with our clients and quick response to any situation that may arise. We also provide a Resource/Recycle program allowing our customers to have their spent reactant (solids) and any other generated waste, recycled. This provides the customer with a Certificate of Recycle, generally eliminating the client’s liability for being a waste generator. This includes guidelines relating to the necessary lab work, and assistance in creating an administrative record to document their regulatory compliance history.
The equipment offered is tailored to the specific requirements of each client. Our (patent pending) modular design and process considers; space requirements (footprint), power requirements, and simplicity of operation, capital expense and annual operating costs.
Strategies and Implementation Summary
Focus on target markets. After focusing our offerings on small and medium waste generators as the key market segment we should own, our values, training, installation, service, support, and knowledge, are more enhanced. Now, tackling larger flows becomes the next logical step in expanding our business.
Emphasize Conservation and Recycling. We must continue to differentiate
ourselves from other equipment sellers. We have established our business as offering a clear and viable alternative to our clients, establishing re-cycling as the proactive, ‘Green’ choice.Build a relationship-oriented business. We built long-term relationships with
clients, not “sell and forget” deals with customers. We are more a confidant, than just a vendor. We become a reliable source for all their compliance issues and recycling options for all of there generated waste.Differentiate and fulfill the promise. We do not just sell service and support,
but we actually deliver as well. We must be certain to project the knowledge- intensive business and service-intensive business we have built. Talk is cheap!
It’s our responsibility to keep it clean!
INDUSTRIAL WASTE WATER AND WASTE SOLIDS
Any commercial or industrial enterprise in the USA, regardless of its size, must choose from one of two options, when discharging wastewater into the local water treatment system. Any water used by that company for some process of manufacturing or service can by permit, be discharged to sewer providing the water meets limits for contaminants set by the regional POTW (Privately Owned Treatment Works).
If the company chooses to be zero discharge, the wastewater must be treated and reused (Closed-loop), evaporated, or hauled for disposal at a Recycling facility.
In either case, the prudent course is to complete generally required testing to establish a ‘Profile’ of what level of contaminants, if any, exist in the wastewater being generated. Once established those analytical results can be compared to limits set by the POTW’s. If the numbers are below set limits, the water can be discharged at will.
In order to have your waste hauled away, any waste liquids or solids, must be Profiled by a Recycler or Broker, based on an individual analytical result for each separate waste. Testing must be conducted by State Certified labs. The profile designates which of three categories, each waste stream falls into. They are as follows; RCRA, CAL-HAZ, and NON-HAZARDOUS.
RCRA is an acronym for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and labels a federally regulated waste that is generally considered to be the most contaminated and needing special handling and disposal at Level 1 or Class 1 facilities. The next level of waste is CAL-HAZ or California Hazardous, and is less toxic by most environmental standards. This level of waste can be disposed of in Level 2 or Class 2 landfills. The last level is NON-HAZARDOUS, representing low levels of contaminants and constitutes the greatest amount of waste generated. This level of waste can go to Level 3 or Class 3 landfills as daily cover. Some Non-Haz solids are increasingly being considered for reuse as raw material in asphalt and for road- base.
